Local Plan consultation period coming to an end

The Local Plan is an important document which sets out the council’s vision for development in the borough over the next 15 years.

Hounslow Council’s six week consultation period for the Local Plan is drawing to an end, and the Chiswick High Road Action Group is finalising its comments ready to make a representation to the council.

Please note the deadline for receiving representations is 22nd April 2014.

No you reduce traffic by reducing roadspace allocated to motor vehicles. Conversely increasing space induces more motor traffic.

I wish the borough had courage to reduce motor raffic space instead of pavement but thats not a good enough argument to keep the statusquo

I'm afraid 'done properly' 'sufficient space' are a sort of refuge. Have you seen what's proposed for Chiswick High Road? Inherent conflict.
